The summer is... for all intensive purposes, gone. I'm older again. Not sure about wiser. I think I'm depressed. Do depressed people know they're depressed? Is it like insanity? I feel like I'm becoming a basket case. And not the cool kind that you can pack picnics into. The sad kind that watch the same TV shows over and over again, with actors pinned up to their walls. The coolest thing I've got going are some crazy vegetables and a guy who isn't real. Why is it that this character is so apologetically smarmy and yet so undeniably perfect? And so not real. Watching him brings to mind my "best" friend, who I am yet madly in love with after 5 years. They even look similar. This actor and my Q. Same round bumping-up little nose, soft ears, sandy hair. Ugh. It makes me want to puke how much I wish this character were real. And even if he were, it would not be right. Too perfect = too wrong. On the plus side, there is no way I'm getting bored.
